Jim Cullen spent his early years in Upstate New York. During most of his professional career he lived in New England and is now retired in New Hampshire with his wife Carolyn and their English Setter, Fancy. For thirty years he has enjoyed learning about the art and history of wildfowl decoys. He has published articles and spoken publicly on the topic. Jim has contributed his time to the Massachusetts Waterfowl Stamp Program. The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston has utilized his knowledge to identify decoys in their collection. Currently, he is the consultant for decoys and sporting art. It is Jim’s intention that this book will add to the body of knowledge about our nation’s decoy makers and promote the enjoyment and preservation of their art.
